REEF Scuba is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to the urgent work of coral reef conservation.

Science-Based Conservation We believe effective restoration must be grounded in data. Since 2020, REEF Scuba has conducted, planned, and organized hands-on, scientifically monitored restoration projects. From coral monitoring, restoration, shading experiments to spawning tracking, our team of marine scientists and dive professionals is advancing the field of ecosystem recovery, and helping more people initiate and take part in impactful reef restoration.

UN Consultative Status We hold Special Consultative Status with the United Nations (ECOSOC). This accreditation allows us to move beyond discussion and directly influence global marine conservation frameworks, representing the ocean at the highest levels of governance.

From Data to Open Access Science should not be locked in silos. A core pillar of our mission is Knowledge Sharing; translating complex marine data into accessible tools. Through our white papers, the REEF Roundup podcast, and diver resources, we empower recreational scuba divers to evolve into "Ocean Champions", informed advocates equipped with the knowledge to protect the underwater world they explore.

Fieldwork & Operations Since 2020, we have initiated and supported restoration projects across:
